Embracing the Chaos: A Long Island Mom’s Journey to Stylish Phone Cases

Updated: Jan 7

If there’s one thing I’ve learned about life on Long Island, it’s that it moves fast. Blink once and you’re late for school drop-off. Blink twice and suddenly you’re sprinting across a turf field with someone’s forgotten cleats in one hand and a half-spilled iced coffee in the other. Add three daughters, a teaching career, and a small business into the mix, and you’ve basically got my daily cardio routine.

People often ask me, “How do you do it all?” The honest answer? I don’t know—I just do. (And caffeine. Lots of caffeine.)

Where Motherhood Meets the Creative Grind

When I launched my line of graphically designed phone cases, I didn’t imagine I’d be squeezing in design sessions at 10 p.m. between grading quizzes and packing tomorrow’s snacks. But creating something beautiful—something mine—became a kind of therapy in the chaos.

My daughters love watching the process too. They’ll hover over my shoulder and give very strong design opinions. Apparently, pre-teens and teens are now the creative directors of my brand.

Let me tell you: if you can get a “that’s actually kinda cute” from your daughters, you know you have a winner.

Youth Sports: My Accidental Second Home

If I’m not teaching or designing, you can find me standing on the sidelines of some field I definitely could not locate on a map if you asked me after dark. Soccer, lacrosse, basketball—you name it. My trunk has turned into a mobile sporting goods store. I’m confident if someone yelled “we need shin guards!” I could produce five pairs in under 30 seconds.

And while the schedules are wild, the best inspiration for my designs comes from those chaotic moments—muddy cleats, neon jerseys, and the Long Island sunsets we catch driving from one game to the next. There’s something beautiful about capturing the energy of this season of life and turning it into art you can carry every day.

The Juggle Is Real—But Worth It

I love being a teacher. I love being a mom. I love designing. And even though my days sometimes feel like one long relay race, every part of this life fuels the next.

My daughters inspire the designs. My students inspire my creativity. My customers inspire me to keep building this small business into something real, meaningful, and fun.

Finding Inspiration in Everyday Moments

Every day is a new adventure. Whether it’s a last-minute soccer practice or a spontaneous family outing, I find inspiration everywhere. The laughter of my daughters, the excitement of their games, and even the quiet moments at home all spark ideas for my designs.

I believe that life’s little moments can lead to the most beautiful creations. That’s why I pour my heart into every phone case. They’re not just accessories; they’re a reflection of my life and the experiences I cherish.

Why I Share My Chaos With You

Because maybe your life looks a little like mine—busy, messy, exciting, exhausting, and full of moments that deserve to be celebrated. And maybe when you read stories like this, you feel a little less alone in the beautiful madness of raising kids, chasing dreams, and still trying to remember where you put your keys.

If you’re new here—welcome. If you’ve been on this journey with me—thank you. And if you’re just here for cute phone cases with a little Long Island mom attitude—you’re absolutely in the right place.

Stay tuned for new designs, new stories, and probably a few more sideline adventures.

From my crazy Long Island life to yours, thanks for reading. 💗
